Issaquah Women in Business (iWiB) is a student organization at Issaquah High School and a chapter of Washington Women in Business. Our mission is to encourage young women to pursue business, educate them about the field, and support the already existing organizations with a like cause through philanthropy. Since its founding in 2014, WiB has partnered with many organizations such as TiE Young Entrepreneurs of Seattle, Undergraduate Women in Business of UW's Foster Business School, YWCA Dress for Success Charity, Young Women Empowered, and more.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WiB's schedule is unique compared to other high school clubs; we do not host the traditional in-the-classroom meetings, apart from the introduction and end-of-the-year conferences. Instead, each month, a WiB meeting either consists of a guest speaker, conference, field trip, volunteer work, or collaboration with other high school clubs in order to expand our network and vary the environment in which we learn more about the role of business in our community.
